KLUANG: Two men were arrested for breaking into a swiftlet house at Taman Sri Layang, Layang-Layang.

Kluang OCPD Asst Comm Bahrin Mohd Noh said the suspects, aged 36 and 41, were arrested at 2am last Friday (Nov 24).

“A background check revealed that the duo have prior records involving drugs and crime but were tested negative for drugs.

Some of the items include various tools, two bird nest scrapers, a rope, and a plastic bag containing 450g bird nest, he added.

He said the items confiscated are worth approximately RM3,000, and the suspects are currently under remand for six days starting Nov 25 to help with the investigations.
