Six-year-old gets head stuck in Melaka apartment window

MELAKA: Firemen came to the rescue of a six-year-old boy who got his head stuck in a window panel at an apartment in Pasir Puteri, Ujong Pasir here.

Ayer Keroh Fire and Rescue Department's commanding officer Mohd Nor Mohd Sheh said the boy was trying to pass the house keys to his father from the third-floor apartment unit when he got stuck at about 1pm on Monday (Nov 27).

"The boy had tried to drop the key from the third floor to where his father was standing on the ground floor as the main entrance to their home was locked," he said.

He said the boy's father called firemen at about 1.10pm after he failed to free his son.

Mohd Nor said six firemen rushed to the apartment to rescue the boy and freed him within ten minutes.

He added that the boy was unharmed.
