SPM science practical tests to be held from Dec 5 to 7

PETALING JAYA: The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) science practical test for the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Additional Sciences subjects will begin on Dec 5 until 7.

A total of 91,908 candidates have registered for the Physics subject, 93,135 candidates for the Chemistry subject, 72,841 candidates for the Biology subject and 1,784 candidates for the Additional Science subject.

Candidates are reminded to refer to the SPM 2023 timetable to obtain information on the date, time, code and exam paper, as well as the instructions to be followed throughout the exam.

The examination timetable can be downloaded from the Examination Board website via lp.moe.gov.my.

Candidates are also reminded to bring along their MyKad and exam slip.

The Education Ministry has advised all exam candidates to inform the school or the state education department (JPN) immediately if they cannot attend the designated exam centre or any nearby exam centre due to a disaster, including floods.

“Candidates can also contact the examination room hotlines available at LP and JPN headquarters nationwide,” it said in a statement Wednesday (Nov 29).

“The ministry is concerned about the safety and well-being of candidates and all examination staff in the face of any possible disaster, including the flood season, throughout the SPM 2023 examination.

“The ministry is always ready with appropriate preparation mechanisms and steps including working with other relevant government agencies,” it added.
