KUALA LUMPUR: Social media users are in awe of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Prince Albert II of Monaco after a video of both heads of states visiting a cendol stall in Pahang went online.
A post on the Istana Negara office Instagram page on Tuesday (Nov 28) garnered attention with people commenting on the humility of the royals, who enjoyed their cendol while interacting with staff and accommodating their requests for photos.
One user named @aikkamyy_ said "long live our humble Majesty. It must be tiring as well to be King (sic)" while others commented that it was a great idea to have Prince Albert try Cendol.
The video showed the stall in Lanchang, Pahang abuzz with excitement as the royals enjoyed their drinks, with both rulers thanking the stall operators for the hospitality and cendol before leaving the stall, with Sultan Abdullah stopping to "salaam" the staff.
Prince Albert is on a four-day visit to Malaysia.
The royals were seen taking part in various activities during the four-day visit which included visiting two animal conservation centres in Lanchang.
