PM Anwar invites Xi to visit, says Malaysia's ambassador to China

BEIJING: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has invited China's President Xi Jinping (pic) to visit the country, says Malaysian ambassador to China Norman Muhamad in Beijing on Friday (Dec 1).

"We are hoping that President Xi will consent to visiting Malaysia," Norman said during an event at the Malaysian embassy on the country's visa-free entry announcement for Chinese citizens. - Reuters
