Police deny claims that Papagomo was arrested


KUALA LUMPUR: Police denied claims that blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, also known as Papagomo, was detained as claimed by some.

Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain refuted allegations that Wan Muhammad Azri was detained while he was live streaming on social media.

"We did not arrest Papagomo, yesterday," he told Bernama when contacted on Wednesday (Dec 6)

Earlier, blogger Raja Petra Raja Kamarudin uploaded a statement on social media, claiming Papagomo was detained while going live on his social media platform (TikTok). – Bernama
