Fearless woman fights off gunmen with broom

THE video of a woman in India fearlessly attacking four gunmen with a broom to save a man’s life has gone viral online, Makkal Osai reported.

The footage begins with four men arriving on motorbikes at a house in northern Haryana state on Nov 27. One of the men shoots and injures the victim, identified as Harikishan, in front of his house.An unnamed woman then comes charging out of the house with a broom and proceeds to attack the four men, who quickly bolt to escape the woman’s wrath.

It was later reported that the victim who was injured in the shooting was involved in a case related to the death of a gangster in the area.

The school’s headmistress, identified as Saraswathi, said even residents in the area were wary of the dark road.

The solar-powered lights were finally installed through the efforts of Sungkai assemblyman A. Sivanesan, she said.
