Zayn Rayyan was murdered, say cops

SUNGAI BULOH: Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin’s cause of death was murder, say the police.

When contacted, Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed that marks on the neck were found on the body during the post mortem.

"Investigations are now being conducted under Section 302 for murder," he said on Thursday (Dec 7).

Zayn Rayyan, a six-year-old autistic boy, was found dead about 34 hours after his reported disappearance on Tuesday (Dec 5) after the victim was last seen at Idaman Apartment in Damansara Damai.

His mother, Ismanira Abdul Manaf, was reported as saying she only realised her son was missing when she was going up to their third-floor apartment on the way back from a park at around noon.
