KUALA LUMPUR: National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) borrowers can look forward to a range of special offers through the inaugural Let’s Pay PTPTN Campaign, taking place throughout this month.
As part of the campaign, which coincides with the agency’s Customer Appreciation Day, participants can enjoy a repayment discount of up to 15%, and borrowers with arrears are eligible for a loan restructuring with a minimum upfront payment of RM300.
PTPTN chief executive officer Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid said a Let’s Pay PTPTN Draw would also be organised, offering cash prizes of up to RM70,000 for 140 winners. The promotional draw will run from Dec 1 to 31.
“In each state, there are 10 attractive prizes up for grabs. The entry criteria are straightforward, as borrowers who make loan repayments totalling a minimum of RM300 during the promotion period qualify for a single entry for the draw,” he said yesterday.
Furthermore, he said borrowers participating in this campaign and making loan repayments will be rewarded with exclusive PTPTN souvenirs.
Ahmad Dasuki said as of Oct 30, loan approvals have been granted to 3.92 million applicants, involving a total allocation of RM70.91bil.
PTPTN remains committed to ensuring that borrowers make consistent repayments for the continuity of funds for future generations.
“This campaign presents the best opportunity for all borrowers to engage with PTPTN.
“Beyond the benefits of loan repayment discounts, they also have the chance to restructure their loans with more attractive offers,” he said.
Borrowers have the chance to win prizes and receive exclusive souvenirs from PTPTN.
The PTPTN Customer Appreciation Day is concurrently taking place at all PTPTN state offices and branches nationwide, commencing today until Dec 31.
To facilitate customer transactions throughout Customer Appreciation Day, counter operating hours at PTPTN state offices and branches nationwide have been extended from 8.30am to 6.00pm, including Saturdays from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
