Toddler drowns in Rantau Panjang swamp


PASIR MAS: A 15-month-old boy was found drowned in a swamp near Taman Rantau Baru in Rantau Panjang here on Thursday (Dec 21).

Rantau Panjang fire station chief Shapawi Stapa said the body of Firdaus Mohd Faisal, a Thai national, was found at 2.20pm.

"The body was found by the Water Rescue Team in the area where the victim was reported missing.

"The victim's remains were taken to Hospital Pasir Mas," he said when contacted. – Bernama
