JOHOR BARU: The Johor Entrepreneur Data Centre System (Johor Padu) has helped more than 40,000 entrepreneurs grow their businesses since it was launched about two years ago, says Mohd Hairi Mad Shah.
The state youth, sports, entrepreneur development, cooperatives and human resources committee chairman said Johor Padu has been a state government initiative since Jan 1, 2022.
“We want to get as many local entrepreneurs (as possible) to register under Johor Padu, which is operated by Perbadanan Usahawan Johor Sdn Bhd.
“We already have more than 40,000 entrepreneurs registered, with about RM129mil in allocations given out since the launch,” he said.
Mohd Hairi said there was some confusion currently, as some people were mistaking Johor Padu with the new Central Database Hub (Padu) by the Federal Government as both systems have the same name.
