Trio nabbed for allegedly kidnapping teen girl outside Gombak school


GOMBAK: Two men and a woman were detained for allegedly abducting a 17-year-old girl outside of her school here.

Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said police received a report from the victim's mother that her daughter was abducted at about 10.30am on Jan 5.

"Investigation showed that the victim's teacher informed the mother that the victim was abducted by a man and a woman in a car," he said in a statement on Sunday (Jan 7).

Police managed to arrest two men aged 22 and 20 as well as a 20-year-old woman at about 11.30pm on Jan 5.

"We also seized a car and a motorcycle.

"The suspects have been remanded until Jan 9," he said.

The case is classified under Section 365 of the Penal Code, he added.
