Papagomo to be charged for alleged defamatory statement against government


PETALING JAYA: Controversial blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris (pic), also known as Papagomo will be charged on Monday (Jan 8) for allegedly making a defamatory statement against the government.

The statement was said to have been made on the "Halid Hamidi" Facebook account.

Wan Muhammad now faces a charge at the Sessions Court at Jalan Duta after the case was investigated under Section 4(1)(b) of the Defamation Act 1948.
