Arson due to political differences unacceptable, says Ahmad Fadhli Shaari

PETALING JAYA: The arson attack at the house of Beruas MP Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham is unacceptable, says PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari.

Condemning the incident, Ahmad Fadhli said that political differences should not lead to acts of violence.

“Regardless of political differences, committing arson and destroying someone's property, especially endangering life, is an unacceptable deed,” he said in a Facebook post on Wednesday (Jan 10).

He said that the tragic incident should be left to the authorities to investigate, and added that the public should not speculate on it.

“All parties should not do anything that could disrupt the investigation,” added the Pasir Mas MP.

Three cars were damaged when a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the compound of Ngeh's Ipoh house in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
