Molotov cocktail believed to be source of fire at Beruas MP's house

IPOH: The fire that damaged three cars at Beruas MP Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham's house in the early hours of Wednesday (Jan 10) morning is believed to have been caused by a Molotov cocktail.

In a statement, DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook said that Ngeh had told him about the incident

He said the fire department managed to put out the fire and prevent the fire from spreading to the other parts of his house.

“A police report has been made and we are confident that the police will act decisively and quickly to investigate and arrest the party responsible for the crime. On behalf of DAP, I sympathise, and we are in solidarity with his family," said Loke.

“DAP strongly condemns this act which threatens the safety of his family's life and insists that any form of violence is unacceptable in dealing with differences in our society,” he added.
