SHAH ALAM: A driver cheated death after his car plunged into an elevated parking lot.

The incident occurred late Saturday at Menara Top Glove here.

OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the driver, aged 41, had lost control of his car, hitting two other vehicles before toppling over.

“The car hit a concrete wall before plunging down the third floor of the carpark.

“Due to the impact, the victim suffered injuries and has been taken to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah for treatment,” he said in a statement yesterday.

ACP Mohd Iqbal said investigations were underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.
