JOHOR BARU: As of Saturday (Jan 13), 112,524 or 4.1% of people in Johor had registered with the Central Database Hub (Padu) system since its launch on Jan 2.
The Johor branch of the Department of Statistics Malaysia in a statement said, however, that the figure is still less than satisfactory.
"Therefore, Bangsa Johor are invited to visit Padu counters set up at the Digital Economy Centre (PeDi) in nearby areas to update their profiles,” it said.
The department said that its officers in Johor would be stationed at selected counters to assist the public in updating their Padu data, and added that people could also head to their offices in Johor Bahru, Kluang, Muar and Batu Pahat.
Updates can also be made online through the Padu website at www.padu.gov.my, while the latest information related to the system can be found through the official social media accounts of Padu, the Ministry of Economy, Department of Statistics Malaysia or the Department's Johor website.
PADU aims to improve the efficiency of policy planning and resource distribution, especially for targeted government subsidies and assistance. - Bernama
