JEMPOL: A 50-year-old rubber tapper was killed after a car rammed into his motorcycle along Jalan Besar Pasoh 3 here.

District police chief Supt Hoo Chang Hook said the car driven by a 22-year-old man crashed into the victim's bike after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

"The driver was heading towards Air Hitam at around 8.25am Tuesday (Jan 16) when the crash happened.

"The right rear tyre of the car apparently exploded, causing the driver to lose control and enter the opposite lane," he said in a statement.
