HONG KONG actress Maria Cordero (pic) had seven suitors courting her just after her first marriage ended in 1989, reported China Press.
The 69-year-old was reported to have revealed that her first marriage to a Filipino pianist 22 years her senior was not a happy one.
The jovial TV host claimed that she once caught him in bed with his mistress.
“When I got off the plane and rushed home, I saw the two of them in bed,” she said on the latest episode of When Grandpa Meets Maria – Feasts of Life, which was aired on Jan 15.
Right after she divorced him in 1989, Cordero claimed her “market value” skyrocketed.
She claimed that seven men, all of whom were of different nationalities, started courting her after finding out that she was newly single.
“At that time, I had to ask my colleagues to help me manage my schedule so that I know what time I should be seeing who!” she said.
Cordero eventually settled down with Portuguese engineer Rick da Silva, to whom she remained married until his death in 2021.

Edward Lau warned that eating a large amount of food in one sitting could trigger a heart attack.

Lau added that some competitive eaters suffer from bulimia, which is characterised by uncontrolled episodes of overeating, followed by purging by self-induced vomiting, misuse of laxatives and other methods.
It was reported that influencer Amoi Saka completed a challenge where she finished 242 satay in just 30 minutes.
Throughout the 30-minute challenge, Amoi Saka could be heard repeating: “This is yummy”.
In 2023, she was reported to have completed a challenge in which she finished 23kg of Musang King durian in just 30 minutes.
