MCA leaders gather to pay their last respects to party veteran Datuk Wong Seng Chow


PETALING JAYA: MCA leaders gathered at the wake of MCA veteran Datuk Wong Seng Chow who passed away on Thursday (Jan 25) to pay their last respects.

"We also spent some time with his family and extended our sincere condolences to them and expressed our gratitude for all that he had done for the party and the nation," said MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong in a post on Facebook.

"The former transport deputy minister and senator was an active party leader, especially in Negri Sembilan.

"May his family members find peace and strength as they go through this difficult time of grief," Dr Wee added.

Also at the wake were MCA secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon, MCA vice-president Datuk Lawrence Low, MCA organising secretary Leaw Kok Chan, MCA deputy treasurer-general Adrian Lee, MCA central committee members Datuk Leong Kok Wee and Woon Yong Teai, and MCA president’s office advisor Datuk Steven Lim.
