Resolutions from bumiputra congress will help other races too, says PM

IPOH: Resolutions from the Bumiputra Economic Congress to be held at the end of next month would also be used to help other races, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The Prime Minister said issues faced by bumiputras were also faced by the other races.

"The congress will also identify problems faced by non-bumiputras.

"We need to tackle these issues together and make it a big agenda," he said in his closing speech at the Perak Unity Government Convention at Casuarina@Meru Convention Centre here on Sunday (Jan 28).

"I will also ask that non-Malay ministers be invited to the congress," he said.

The congress will be held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre from Feb 29 to March 2.
