Best wishes from ministers


KUALA LUMPUR: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination candidates have received words of encouragement from ministers, who wished them all the best.

Among them was Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz who released a video message to the SPM candidates on not wasting the opportunities available to them as he encouraged them to strive for their future.

“The purpose of learning is to make us well-rounded individuals and have knowledge about various aspects of the world. So let’s learn Bahasa Melayu, English, History, Mathematics, Science and other subjects to prepare ourselves. When we finish our schooling, the knowledge we have acquired will facilitate us in choosing a suitable career,” he said, reported Bernama.

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, who also wished the candidates good luck, said she prays for their success.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa said, “May you achieve excellence and success. All the best!”
