Paragon Private and International School which is in Plentong, Johor, started its operation in 2017, as a joint-venture between Joland Group and Kuopacific Group.

During the same year, Joland Group crossed an important milestone when one of its member companies, Paragon Adventure Sdn Bhd, acquired 51.807% of the equity interest in Goh Ban Huat Berhad in September 2017.
The rebranding and re-strategising of the business direction commenced thereafter with the diversification into property development and construction activities.
In 2018, it changed its name to Paragon Globe Berhad [194801000095(1713-A)] (PGB).
PGB embarked its journey in industrial development when it acquired several parcels of land in Pekan Nanas Industrial Park in Pontian, Johor.
Its Pekan Sentral project aims to bolster the economy of Pekan Nanas and create job opportunities for the residents of Pekan Nanas and the Pontian district.
Currently, PGB has several projects planned while Joland Group is developing the Paragon Gateway, a mixed development located just next to Tebrau Highway.
The strategic location is particularly convenient for people working in Singapore, especially for those who regularly make the daily round trip between Johor Baru and Singapore.
Paragon Gateway is a joint-venture development between Joland Group and Kuopacific Group Malaysia.
Nestled on 5.24 acres of freehold land located in Taman Suria, Johor Baru, Paragon Gateway has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM1.2bil.
It comprises a total of four towers of serviced apartments, with 45 stories in Tower A and B, and 47 stories in Tower C and D.
In total, there are 2,136 units of serviced apartments and 48 units of retail shops.
Recently, PGB through its wholly-owned subsidiary of PGB, has proposed to acquire eight parcels of freehold land, approximately 46.904ha which are in the Mukim of Tanjung Kupang, Johor Baru, and Mukim of Pulai, Johor Baru, for RM146,071,898.47 on Nov 17, 2023.
PGB is actively involved in the development of Selgate Hospital Sepang for Selgate Healthcare Sdn Bhd (Selgate Healthcare).
The Selgate Hospital Sepang, with 121 beds, is to be built on 7.07 acres of land, operated and leased by Selgate Healthcare for 15 years with an option to extend for another 15 years.
The construction commenced in 2021 and is slated for completion by the end of 2024.
