Maran traffic cop goes viral after he rescues puppy from drain

PETALING JAYA: A traffic policeman has gone viral for rescuing a puppy from a drain near a police station in Maran, Pahang.

In a post on the Royal Malaysia Police's official Facebook page, several photographs were uploaded of Sjn Mohd Fazre Sulaiman's good deed.

The caption on the post stated that Sjn Mohd Fazre from the Maran Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department's swift actions managed to save the puppy that had fallen into a drain.

"The help he has given clearly shows the caring nature of the Sang Saka Biru who are not only focused on humans but also have a responsibility towards all creatures that live on this earth," it stated.

The photographs show the sequence of events of how Sjn Mohd Fazre, who was in full uniform, rescued the puppy.

One of the pictures shows him with one leg in the drain while trying to reach the distressed animal.

Another image shows him in the drain in order to get a better grip on the puppy while a third image shows him carrying the puppy and placing it on the grass near the drain.

The last picture in the post shows the puppy sitting by the fence behind a police pickup truck.
