A DOCTOR in India has been fired after holding his engagement photoshoot in a hospital operating room, Makkal Osai reported.
Known only by his name Abishek, he had uploaded a video on social media in which he was seen in full surgical garb carrying out an “operation” with his fiancee “assisting” him.
The “patient” was also shown sitting up at the end of the surgery.
Apparently, Abishek had begun working at the government hospital in Bengaluru just a month ago.
His family had arranged a marriage for him then, and he came up with the idea to hold a photoshoot at the hospital.
The couple thought it was a fun photoshoot idea but many people online were quick to condemn the video.
It also caught the attention of district public health officials who ordered Abishek to be terminated.
The hospital administrators have also been ordered to submit a report on the incident.
