Woman and young daughters found dead

SEREMBAN: A mother and her two daughters, aged three and six, were found dead in their house in Lenggeng near here.

Nilai police chief Supt Abdul Malik Hasim said a note, believed to have been written by the 34-year-old woman about her marital problems, was also found.

“We received a call from a man around 9.25pm on Monday after he stumbled upon the three,” he said.

Supt Abdul Malik said police detained the woman’s husband around 1am yesterday and obtained an order to remand him for four days.

The husband, who is in his 30s, works as a technician.

The case, he said, was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

The remains of the deceased have been sent to Hospital Tuanku Jaafar for post-mortem.
