ACTOR Hun Haqeem was ordered by the Court of Appeal to pay RM613,950 in damages to his previous production company, Metrowealth International Group (MIG), over a breach of his five-year contract with the company, reported Berita Harian. The report said Hun left MIG in 2021, with two years left on his contract.
MIG managing director David Teo said the company suffered significant losses when many job offers for the fast-rising actor had to be cancelled upon his departure.

Hun had only paid back half of the amount, said Teo.Hun’s case marks the first instance of MIG suing an artiste. With this case, Teo said he hopes artistes will comply with the contracts they have signed.
