EPF likely to declare 2023 dividends on March 3


PETALING JAYA: The Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) is expected to announce the 2023 dividends on Sunday (March 3).

As in previous years, dividends for the conventional and syariah savings for 2023 are expected to be announced during the retirement fund’s annual financial performance briefing, which will be on Sunday.

Analysts have previously indicated that the dividends for last year are likely to be higher than in 2022.

The EPF declared a dividend rate of 5.35% for conventional savings for 2022, with a total payout amounting to RM45.44bil, as well as a 4.75% dividend rate for syariah savings, with a payout amounting to RM5.7bil.
