Former MDEC CEO Surina Shukri passes away


PETALING JAYA: Former Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) CEO passed away on Thursday (Feb 29) morning.

She was CEO of MDEC from January 2019 to August 2021.

Surina had also served as an independent non-executive director of Capital A (formerly known as AirAsia Group) and CIMB Investment Bank Bhd.

She leaves behind husband Jasmin Ong Rashid and three children.
