Fire razes five shops in Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh


PETALING JAYA: Five shops in Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh were razed in an early morning fire on Tuesday (March 5).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the incident occurred at 3.58am.

"A total of 22 firemen from two fire stations were dispatched to the scene and arrived at 4.04am.

"We managed to control the fire by 4.39am," he said in a statement today.

Three shops were 80% burnt while the other two shops were 60% burnt, he said.

"We managed to put out the fire completely at 6.50am.

"No one was hurt during the incident," he said.
