Body of newborn found at bottom of Sri Petaling high-rise apartment


KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a newborn baby boy has been found at the base of an apartment here, say police.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said the public notified the police of the incident at the apartment in Sri Petaling at around 2.30pm on Saturday (March 9).

"The baby is believed to have been thrown from a high location, which led to a broken skull," he said, adding that the baby's umbilical cord was still attached.

He added that investigations into the case were still ongoing.
