A RESTAURANT in Tamil Nadu, India, is waiving the bill for all mother-in-law and daughter-in-law pairs who feed each other their food, Makkal Osai reported.
According to its owner, identified only as Prabhu, the restaurant wanted to break the stereotype that mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law will often get into arguments.
Hopefully, this could help bring families closer together, he added.He said the restaurant, which is located in Erode City, has been carrying out the promotion for the past six years in conjunction with International Women’s Day on March 8.
During the promotion, which ran from March 6 to March 12, mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law customers could have any food in the shop for free as long as they fed it to each other.

SJK(T) Pasir Gudang in Johor welcomed 39 Year One students with the ceremony, which included getting the children to practise writing the first letter of the Tamil alphabet on a tray of rice.
