Fighting corruption is everyone's responsibility, says Dr Wee


KUALA LUMPUR: Support must come from all sides to curb bribery, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"Eradicating bribery has always been my priority and that of the MCA.

"We need the support from all parties to ensure that such an effort for the good of the country and future generations will bear fruits," he said in a post on his Facebook page on Thursday (March 14).

He added that he held a meeting with the All Party Parliamentary Group (KRPPM) at the Parliament Building on Thursday afternoon.

"I expressed support for any party making an effort to curb corruption.

"Also present at the meeting were Shah Hakim Zain, Transparency International Malaysia president Dr Muhammad Mohan, Rasuah Busters Chief Executive Officer Nurhayati Nordin and Rasuah Busters Associate Strategic Manager Wan Normi Hasan.
