THE mother of missing child, Siti Dhia Batrisyia Mohd Chairil Anuar, is worried that the 12-year-old had followed a stranger.

Syarifah Rosfazila Syed Muhammad Fazili, 41, said the last time she last saw her eldest child was at their home in Pudu, around 4pm.

They had an argument after she found out that Siti Dhia did not attend school on Tuesday.

“My daughter said she went out to buy things for me as a surprise... I told her she should not be skipping school for such things.

“I left the house to get groceries for breaking fast later. When I returned home, Dhia was no longer there,” she was quoted as saying by Kosmo! yesterday.

Syarifah became worried when Siti Dhia did not return home even after iftar time.

“She often goes to her friend’s house nearby. When she did not return home by the next day, I started looking for her at her friends’ houses but they all said they did not know where she was,” she said.

During her search, Syarifah said one of Dhia’s friends claimed that her daughter had followed an unknown man whom she met on social media.

Dang Wangi district police chief Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya confirmed a police report had been lodged involving a missing person.

> The sister of actress Ruhainies, who was embroiled in a khalwat case with Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz, came to her defence by sharing proof of their conversation planning a family meal together.

Berita Harian reported that Risteena Munim shared screenshots of her conversation with Ruhaines planning to have a meal together before the incident where authorities caught the actress and Aliff in close proximity.

“Yes, I should have been there but I was delayed due to work commitments and traffic congestion. I arrived at Ruhainies’ house at 11.30pm,” she said in a social media post.

Risteena claimed that officers from Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi) arrived at her sister’s house at 11pm, not at 3am as claimed.

On March 9, the actors were nabbed by Jawi officers after they were seen together at Ruhainies’ condominium unit in Kuala Lumpur.
