Fire in Bangsar housing area

KUALA LUMPUR: A fire broke out in an affluent housing area in Bangsar on Monday night (March 25).

The incident is believed to have had an electrical source.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood, when contacted, confirmed that no fatalities were reported from the fire.

The fire was extinguished at around 9 pm.

Firetrucks were at the scene at Lorong Kemaris, along with Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) personnel who were seen surveying the damage at the house.

“All we saw was fire coming out, but our house did not get hit with a blackout,” a neighbour said.
