Woman injured when tree fell on car in Tuaran


KOTA KINABALU: A woman in her forties was severely injured when a tree fell on her car along Laya-Laya, Tuaran, on Tuesday.

No further details were obtained about the woman who was trapped and pulled out from the compact car.

The Fire and Rescue Department initially received a report of the incident at 5pm, and a team from the Tuaran fire station were dispatched to the location.

“The victim was stuck in the car. She was extracted by the team ... The operation ended at 5.50pm,” said the Department spokesman.
