AN assistant manager of a bank in Tamil Nadu, India, was arrested after she hired assassins to kill her superior who had complained of her poor work performance, Malaysia Nanban reported.

Also nabbed were the suspect’s uncle and three other men.

Police investigations revealed that the 32-year-old suspect was apparently upset after receiving criticisms from her senior manager, identified as Gopinath, 39.

She was said to have messed up the tasks assigned to her under a performance improvement exercise.

Police say the suspect’s uncle had apparently hired three men to murder Gopinath.

The manager was stabbed repeatedly in an attack but survived and is being treated in a hospital here.
