Wisma Putra closely monitoring situation of Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse


KUALA LUMPUR: Wisma Putra is closely monitoring the situation following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, United States.

In a statement on Wednesday (March 27), Wisma Putra said it was monitoring current developments of the incident through the Malaysian Embassy in Washington D.C.

"The Embassy of Malaysia in Washington D.C. is actively coordinating efforts with local authorities to obtain further information.

"Malaysians in the affected areas are urged to stay vigilant and follow the latest updates and guidance provided by local authorities," it said.

It also urged Malaysians requiring consular assistance to contact the Embassy via telephone at +1 (202) 375 4396 or email through consularwdc@kln.gov.my or go to the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington D.C. at 3516 International Ct NW, Washington D.C 20008.
