Anwar to attend state-level buka puasa event in Penang


GEORGE TOWN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will be in Penang for various Ramadan activities, including the state-level buka puasa event today (April 5).

He will first head over to the island before ending the day on the mainland.

Anwar will attend Friday prayers at the Masjid Al Huda, Sungai Ara, Bayan Lepas, in the afternoon.

He will then meet with Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at the latter's office in Komtar to discuss development in the state.

He will then attend a Madani Bubur Lambuk event in the evening at Masjid Kubang Semang in Bukit Mertajam.

This will be followed by a walkabout at the Pasar Awam Bazaar Ramadan in Seberang Jaya in the evening.

The night will culminate with Anwar attending the state-level buka puasa event at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Penang in Permatang Pauh.
