Muhibbah spirit on display at neighbourhood breaking fast event

PETALING JAYA: In a heart-warming display of communal spirit, a group of people at a residential neighbourhood gathered to break fast together during Ramadan.

This touching scene unfolded one recent evening as families from different races came together in unity.

In the Tik Tok video posted by @hamziehambali, the neighbours can be seen breaking fast in picnic-like fashion outside their homes, on mats and foldable tables while enjoying their buka puasa spread.

The muhibbah spirit too was evident as neighbours from the various races mingled with one another while feasting on the meals.

The video was uploaded four days ago and has received more than 20,000 likes, been shared by over 1,000 TikTok users and has received 1,600 comments.

TikTok user @Shashiboy commented 'Beautiful moments' while @DancingPrince29 praised 'how nice to see this' in the comment section.

"Terbaik, love to see this, this was the good old practice masa di kampung... thank you for posting this," said Subashini Mahi.

@EmirHarith and @HanaYasmin said "waaahh...feels so great to see this, the best community in town...selamat berbuka semua...enjoy your food".

TikTok user @nvks24 described such a community as a blessing.

"Be blessed everyone... big hugs for everyone for being (a) good example," they said.
