Two killed in car-lorry collision near Seremban


SEREMBAN: Two people were killed in a collision between a car and a lorry on Jalan Bukit Mantin near here.

Mantin Fire and Rescue Service Department operations chief Muhammad Efeendy Rahmad said the charred remains of the two deceased were found in the burnt luxury car in the 10.20am accident.

"When my men reached the accident spot, the car was engulfed in flames.

"We managed to put out the fire in five minutes," he said in a statement.

He said the identities of the deceased had yet to be ascertained.

Their remains were sent to the Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital for post mortem.

Muhammad Efeendy said the lorry driver and two passengers suffered light injuries and were sent to the hospital.
