King, Queen grace Hari Raya open house at Istana Besar


JOHOR BARU: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia have graced the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at Istana Besar here.

The open house on the second day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri here has drawn a large crowd with many Johoreans eager to meet and greet Their Majesties and other members of the Johor royal family.

The dark and gloomy weather also did not stop the public from making their way to the palace for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.

Also present was Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, his wife Che’ Puan Mahkota Khaleeda, his son Raja Muda Johor Tunku Iskandar Ibni Tunku Ismail and other children.

Other members of the Johor Royal family present were Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, and Tunku Putera Johor Tunku ABu Bakar Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.

Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and other top state leaders were also present at the open house.

On Wednesday (April 10), His Majesty also graced the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house of the Mentri Besar at his official residence in Saujana.
