HULU SELANGOR: After PAS Youth questioned the academic achievements of Pakatan Harapan’s Pang Sock Tao, the Kuala Kubu Baharu candidate clapped back by revealing she scored straight As in both her SPM and UPSR examinations.
In a Facebook post on Monday (April 29), Pang posted transcripts of her SPM and UPSR results, in response to PAS Youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari's challenge to her to reveal her SPM and UPSR details.

Ahmad Fadhli questioned Pang’s schooling achievements, saying she did not list them in her election poster profile.
The issue came about after Perikatan Nasional candidate Khairul Azhari Saut's education became a talking point in the by-election campaign.
Khairul’s biodata stated that he received an executive diploma in management from Universiti Malaya in 2019 and a master's degree in Business Management from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) two years later.
The sequence led to questions on the validity of his qualifications, with some observers asking how he obtained a master's even though his previous qualification was a diploma.

Later, UMPSA CEO Dr Ahmad Johari Mohamad was quoted as saying in a news report that Khairul’s education background is valid.
According to Ahmad Johari, diploma holders can further their studies up to Executive Masters level at UMPSA if they have the required work experience.
He added that Professional Diploma and Executive Masters certificates are issued by a number of universities and are based on the framework of lifelong learning programmes.
These certificates, he said. are recognised by the university senate instead of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.
