A-LIST actor Jet Li and daughter Jane paid a visit to veteran film producer Tiffany Chen, who is currently recovering from a broken leg at home, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The 59-year-old Chen was so moved by the gesture that made her “forget all about the pain” momentarily.

In spite of her injuries, Chen was seen hugging Jane before taking them on a tour of her mansion.

She later posted a video of their visit on social media and thanked the father and daughter for their concern.

“Thank you; I feel very happy,” she said.

The actor’s heart-warming gesture touched internet users.

“Tiffany Chen is amazing because hardly anyone could get Jet Li to appear on screen!” one netizen wrote.

Others described the relationship between Chen and Li as akin to that of a sister and her younger brother.

It was reported that Chen broke her leg after suffering a fall in the bathroom.

After enduring a gruelling five-hour surgery, her leg was fitted with metal rods to realign and stabilise the fractures.

> The daily also reported that Taiwanese band Mayday was forced to postpone its concert in Hong Kong after a freak thunderstorm caused a fire on the stage.

The band was supposed to perform their second concert at the Central Harbour Front Event Space on May 1.

Mere hours before the performance, a thunderstorm unleashed its fury, igniting a fire on stage.

Swift action was taken as firefighters rushed to the scene, bravely extinguishing the flames.

The organisers then announced that the concert would be postponed to May 9 due to the potential danger the damaged stage posed to concertgoers, workers and the band.

Originally, Mayday had planned to hold a concert every day from April 30 to May 8.
