Nizra Industries hopes to impress RMAF with air traffic control showcase

KUALA LUMPUR: Local defence company Nizra Industries hopes to impress the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) this year with their air traffic control showcase.

The local company hopes to make its presence felt at the currently ongoing Defence Services Asia (DSA) and National Security (NatSec) Asia 2024 exhibitions that is currently being held from May 6 to 9 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec)

“The company will also showcase a proposal, in collaboration with a leading Italian defence company, for the Air Traffic Control at the Kuantan Air Base for RMAF. The proposal includes after-sales service and operations training in Malaysia," it said.

Nizra Industries also said it prioritises the growth of local talent and aims to enhance technical and manufacturing capabilities within the community.

"The company continually enhances its technical capabilities and expertise through local and foreign collaborations and assistance from its technology partners,” it said in a statement on Monday (May 6).

It added that it believes Malaysia has the potential to be a regional hub for the defence sector due to “its regional neutrality and abundance of talent”.
