Swedish woman also injured by fallen tree in KL city centre

KUALA LUMPUR: A Swedish woman, 72, was also injured when the tree fell on the busy Jalan Sultan Ismail on Tuesday afternoon (May 7).

"The woman is believed to be an ehailing passenger of the 26-year-old man who was reported injured initially.

"The woman and the man have been taken to the Hospital Kuala Lumpur for medical treatment," said Dang Wangi deputy OCPD Supt Nazron Abd Yusof

He said the road would be closed until it has been cleared.

"Motorists should use alternative routes for now," he said.
