JOHOR BARU: Police have disposed of illicit cigarettes, liquor, and other various confiscated items worth RM165,000 that were seized between 2021 and early this year.

Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Balveer Singh said the disposal process was conducted at a waste disposal centre in Larkin, here.

“The items were confiscated by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which involved 84 cases from 2021 until early this year.

“The items include cigarettes, beers, liquors, mobile phones, massage oil, clothes, receipt papers, towels, weighing machines, and others,” he said in a statement here on Sunday (May 12).

He added that all items were destroyed after the legal process was completed.
