ACTRESS Anna Jobling (pic), whose career soared following the drama Melur Untuk Firdaus, said that she has no intention of moving to Indonesia, Berita Harian reported.

“I will not give up my commitments in Malaysia for now, as I am still open to performing here and serving as a product ambassador,” she said.

Since making a name for herself in Indonesia, Anna, 23, said she and her manager are managing her work schedule.

“I’m serious about expanding my career in Indonesia but it is not that simple to break into the Indonesian film industry,” said Anna.

She said that she is also pursuing classes to improve her command of Indonesian.

Despite travelling frequently, Anna said she never gets tired.

She said that she would use the opportunity brought about by the drama’s success to expand her career in Indonesia.

Anna also said that to maintain her career in Malaysia, she would accept at least two or three scripts at any one time.

She said she is now involved in several dramas and films.

“I will fly to South Korea for filming at the end of the month and will return to Malaysia to film a drama,” said Anna, who starred in the upcoming horror movie Lembayung.> Residents of Kampung Ibok in Terengganu were shocked when they found thousands of dead fish floating in Sungai Ibok last week, reported Kosmo!.The fish included tinfoil barb, beardless barb, catfish and lobster.

A resident, Ahmad Sanadi Kassim, 54, said this is the first time such an incident occurred.

He said the cause is still unknown.

“It’s a big loss, especially to local fishermen,” he added.

Another resident, Amir Mazlan, 43, said the May 10 incident has also caused odour pollution, adding that the area is a popular fishing spot.

Terengganu Fisheries Department director Ruzaidi Mamat said the department received information from the villagers and an investigation is being carried out together with the Environment Department.

He added that water samples had been taken to be analysed.
