IPOH: The state is preparing its report card on the progress made on the Perak Sejahtera 2030 development roadmap plan over the past year.
Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad said the report card was meant to show the state's achievements between June 15 last year and June 15 this year.
"We are in the process of collecting data and information on the progress and things that we have achieved in the past year," he said in a press conference after launching the state National Youth Day celebration at the state Youth and Sports Complex hall here on Saturday (May 18).
"It is a dynamic plan. If there are things that need to be modified in the plan, we will do it to enhance it," he said, adding that the state had in 2023 reported the progress for the previous two years.
Saarani said three more agendas would be added to the plan.
"We held a state retreat in Sabah in February. We made some improvements to the plan.
"We had six main agendas (in the plan). We will add three more," he said, adding that the additional agendas are expected to be announced along with the report card in Manjung next month.
Under the plan launched in 2021, the six agendas are food security, digital economy, data-based decision-making, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) corridor, responsible mining and state-interest project management.
Earlier in his speech, Saarani said the state welcomed more ideas from the youth to enhance the Perak Sejahtera 2030 plan.
"We want to know how youth wants the state to be run.
"It (Perak Sejahtera 2030) is the plan for the future generation," he said.
"Youth of today are the leaders that can determine the success of the plan," he added.
