Kota Kinabalu cops on lookout for Menggatal flasher


KOTA KINABALU: Police are hunting for a man who exposed himself in a mobile phone accessories store in Menggatal near here.

"A store employee who noticed what the man was doing called the police," said Kota Kinabalu police chief ACP Kassim Muda in a statement on Monday (May 20).

He said based on closed circuit television (CCTV) footage, the man was wearing a long-sleeved white T-shirt and grey pants.

"Police are looking for the suspect and anyone who knows him can contact the nearest police station or investigating officer Insp Audrea Johnson on 019-5209 0380," he said.

The case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code for insulting the modesty of a woman.
